CAA YOUNG PARTIES
This October, the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) Task Force will host its 16th Annual Young Hollywood Party (YHP). The event will bring together celebrities and professionals from across the entertainment and sports industries to help raise money to support Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA).
CAA TASK FORCE
Founded in 2002, the Task Force grew out of the desire of the agency’s staff to make a difference. Each year, the Task Force gives time and money to support multiple causes, and organizes benefits in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and London that not only raise hundreds of thousands of dollars, but also aim to introduce staff across the entertainment industry to the world of philanthropy.
Communities In Schools (CIS) is the nation’s largest organization dedicated to empowering at-risk students to stay in school and on a path to a brighter future. Working directly inside more than 2,300 schools across the country, they connect kids to caring adults and community resources designed to help them succeed. They do whatever it takes to ensure that all kids, regardless of the challenges they may face, have what they need to realize their potential.
CISLA provides services to 9,000 at-risk students at eight traditional public schools throughout LA: Mendez Learning Center, Hollenbeck Middle School, John Liechty Middle School, Mark Twain Middle School, Daniel Webster Middle School, Clinton Middle School, Santee Education Complex, and Hamilton High School.
